MYBLISS Event Platform
Welcome to MYBLISS Event Platform. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform as an event organizer. By registering and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1 Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- "Platform" refers to the MYBLISS Event Platform, including the website, mobile applications, and all related services.
- "Organizer" means you, the individual or entity creating and managing events on the Platform.
- "Attendee" means any person who purchases tickets or registers for your events.
- "Event" means any gathering, conference, concert, workshop, or other occasion created and managed through the Platform.
- "Contest" means any voting competition, talent show, or competitive event with voting functionality.
- "Services" refers to all features, tools, and functionalities provided by MYBLISS.
- "We," "Us," or "MYBLISS" refers to the MYBLISS Event Platform and its operators.
2 Account Registration and Verification
2.1 Eligibility
To register as an organizer, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
2.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
- Ensuring that you log out from your account at the end of each session
2.3 Verification Process
We may require you to complete a verification process, including but not limited to email verification, phone verification, identity verification, and business documentation. Failure to complete verification may result in limited account functionality or suspension.
3 Event Creation and Management
3.1 Event Listing Requirements
When creating an event, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete event information
- Ensure all event details (date, time, location, description) are correct
- Upload appropriate and legally compliant event images
- Set fair and reasonable ticket prices
- Clearly state any terms, conditions, or restrictions applicable to the event
3.2 Prohibited Events
⚠️ You may NOT create events that:
Violate any laws or regulations • Promote illegal activities • Contain discriminatory content • Include hate speech or violence • Involve the sale of illegal goods or services • Misrepresent the nature of the event • Infringe on intellectual property rights • Promote pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing • Include sexually explicit content (unless properly classified and age-restricted)
3.3 Event Modifications and Cancellations
If you need to modify or cancel your event:
- Notify attendees immediately through the Platform
- Provide clear communication about changes or cancellations
- Process refunds in accordance with your stated refund policy and applicable laws
- Bear responsibility for any consequences arising from changes or cancellations
4 Ticketing and Pricing
4.1 Ticket Creation
You have full control over:
- Setting ticket prices and categories
- Determining ticket availability and inventory
- Creating early bird, VIP, or special access tickets
- Implementing discount codes or promotional offers
4.2 Pricing Integrity
You agree to:
- Set reasonable and fair ticket prices
- Honor all advertised prices and promotions
- Not engage in price manipulation or unfair practices
- Clearly display all fees and charges to attendees
4.3 Inventory Management
You are responsible for accurately managing ticket inventory and ensuring that you do not oversell your event capacity. Any issues arising from overselling are solely your responsibility.
5 Payment Processing and Payouts
5.1 Payment Collection
MYBLISS processes ticket payments on your behalf through integrated payment gateways. By using our Services, you authorize us to collect and hold funds from ticket sales.
5.2 Platform Fees
💰 Fee Structure
MYBLISS charges a service fee for each ticket sold. The current fee structure is available in your organizer dashboard and may include: Platform service fee, Payment processing fees, Transaction fees. Fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
5.3 Payout Schedule
Event proceeds will be paid out according to the following terms:
- Payouts are processed within 7-14 business days after the event date
- You must have a verified payout method set up
- Minimum payout threshold may apply
- Refunded tickets will be deducted from your payout
- Disputed transactions may be held pending resolution
5.4 Refund Reserve
We may hold a percentage of ticket sales as a refund reserve for up to 60 days after the event to cover potential refunds, chargebacks, or disputes.
5.5 Tax Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- All applicable taxes on your event revenue
- Collecting and remitting sales tax, VAT, or other taxes as required
- Providing necessary tax documentation
- Reporting income to relevant tax authorities
6 Refund and Cancellation Policy
6.1 Your Refund Policy
You must establish and clearly communicate your own refund policy for each event. Your policy must comply with local consumer protection laws and should specify:
- Whether refunds are available and under what circumstances
- The timeframe within which refund requests must be made
- Any applicable refund fees or processing charges
- The process for requesting refunds
6.2 Processing Refunds
When you approve a refund:
- The refund will be processed within 5-10 business days
- The refunded amount will be deducted from your next payout
- Platform fees on refunded tickets are non-refundable
- You are responsible for any payment processor fees on refunds
6.3 Mandatory Refunds
You must issue refunds in the following circumstances:
- Event cancellation (unless otherwise stated in your terms)
- Significant changes to event details that materially affect the event value
- Failure to deliver the event as advertised
- As required by law or regulatory authorities
7 Organizer Responsibilities and Obligations
7.1 Legal Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that your events comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances, including but not limited to:
- Obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Meeting accessibility requirements
- Following COVID-19 or other health protocols as applicable
- Adhering to noise ordinances and venue restrictions
- Complying with alcohol licensing requirements (if applicable)
7.2 Venue and Insurance
You must:
- Secure appropriate venues with proper agreements
- Obtain adequate insurance coverage for your events
- Ensure venues meet safety and capacity standards
- Have contingency plans for emergencies
7.3 Attendee Safety
You are solely responsible for the safety and security of attendees at your events, including providing adequate security personnel, emergency exits, and first aid facilities as required.
7.4 Content Rights
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have proper licenses for all content (images, text, music, etc.) used in your event listings
- Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- You have obtained necessary permissions for photographing or recording attendees
7.5 Communication with Attendees
You must:
- Respond promptly to attendee inquiries
- Provide timely updates about event changes
- Use the Platform's messaging system for official communications
- Not spam or send unsolicited marketing messages
8 Intellectual Property
8.1 MYBLISS Intellectual Property
The Platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by MYBLISS and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use our trademarks without prior written permission
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant MYBLISS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your content in connection with the Services.
9 Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 Personal Data
You acknowledge that MYBLISS collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for complying with data protection laws when collecting and processing attendee information.
9.2 Data Usage
You may use attendee data only for:
- Event management and communication purposes
- Providing customer support
- Sending event-related updates (with proper consent)
9.3 Data Security
You must implement appropriate security measures to protect any attendee data you access or store outside the Platform.
10 Prohibited Activities
🚫 You may NOT:
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose • Violate any local, state, national, or international law • Impersonate any person or entity • Engage in fraudulent activities • Create fake events or sell fake tickets • Manipulate reviews or ratings • Interfere with the Platform's operation • Use bots or automated systems without authorization • Harvest or collect user information without consent • Spam users or send unsolicited communications • Upload viruses or malicious code • Circumvent any security features • Engage in price gouging or ticket scalping • Discriminate against attendees based on protected characteristics • Mislead or deceive attendees • Violate intellectual property rights
11 Limitation of Liability
11.1 Platform Availability
While we strive to maintain uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Platform downtime or technical issues.
11.2 Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services (payment processors, email services, etc.). We are not responsible for any failures or issues with these third-party services.
11.3 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MYBLISS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising from your use of the Platform.
11.4 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to MYBLISS in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MYBLISS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your events and activities
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
- Any claims by attendees related to your events
13 Termination and Suspension
13.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. However, you remain responsible for any outstanding obligations, including pending events and financial settlements.
13.2 Termination by MYBLISS
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your account is involved in fraudulent activities
- You receive excessive complaints from attendees
- You fail to pay amounts owed to MYBLISS
- Your events consistently receive negative feedback
- We are required to do so by law or regulatory authorities
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Platform will be revoked
- You must honor all pending event commitments
- Outstanding payments will be settled according to our payout schedule
- We may retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes
14 Dispute Resolution
14.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve any disputes informally. We will work with you in good faith to resolve issues.
14.2 Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act or other applicable arbitration rules.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
15 General Provisions
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15.4 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MYBLISS regarding the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
15.5 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
15.6 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
15.7 Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or governmental actions.
16 Voting Contests and Competitions
16.1 Contest Creation
MYBLISS allows organizers to create voting contests where attendees or the public can vote for contestants. When creating a voting contest, you must:
- Clearly define the contest rules, voting period, and eligibility criteria
- Specify prizes, awards, or recognition for winners
- Obtain all necessary permissions from contestants
- Ensure the contest complies with all applicable laws and regulations
- Disclose any entry fees or voting costs to participants
16.2 Voting Integrity

You must ensure fair voting practices and agree to: Prohibit vote manipulation, bot voting, or fraudulent activities • Not artificially inflate vote counts • Take action against contestants who engage in unfair practices • Maintain transparent voting systems • Clearly communicate how votes are counted and validated • Allow MYBLISS to audit voting data if suspicious activity is detected
16.3 Voting Fees and Revenue
If your voting contest involves paid votes:
- You must clearly disclose the cost per vote or voting package
- MYBLISS platform fees apply to all voting revenue (same as ticket sales)
- Voting fees are non-refundable unless the contest is cancelled
- Revenue from voting will be paid out according to the standard payout schedule
- You are responsible for taxes on voting revenue
16.4 Contestant Rights and Data
When managing contestants:
- Obtain written consent from all contestants to participate
- Ensure contestants have rights to all submitted content (photos, videos, etc.)
- Protect contestant personal information in accordance with privacy laws
- Do not discriminate against contestants based on protected characteristics
- Allow contestants to withdraw from the contest if needed
16.5 Contest Rules and Judging
You must establish and communicate:
- Clear contest rules and terms
- Judging criteria (if applicable)
- Voting weight (public votes vs. judges' decisions)
- Tie-breaking procedures
- Winner announcement timeline
- Prize distribution process
16.6 Prize Fulfillment
If your contest offers prizes, you are solely responsible for:
- Providing all advertised prizes to winners
- Delivering prizes within the promised timeframe
- Handling any disputes related to prizes
- Complying with tax obligations related to prizes
- Obtaining necessary insurance for high-value prizes
16.7 Contest Cancellation or Modification
If you need to cancel or significantly modify a voting contest:
- Notify all participants immediately
- Provide full refunds for any paid votes
- Clearly explain the reasons for cancellation or changes
- Maintain transparency with contestants and voters
16.8 Prohibited Contest Practices

Run pyramid or chain voting schemes • Manipulate voting results • Fail to deliver promised prizes • Discriminate against contestants • Run contests that violate lottery or gambling laws • Use contest data for unauthorized purposes • Create fake contestants or votes • Engage in vote-buying or vote-selling • Misrepresent contest outcomes • Exploit minors in contests without proper parental consent
16.9 MYBLISS Rights Regarding Contests
MYBLISS reserves the right to:
- Monitor voting patterns for suspicious activity
- Suspend or terminate contests that violate these Terms
- Remove fraudulent votes or disqualify contestants
- Withhold payouts if fraud is detected
- Require additional verification for high-stakes contests
- Display contest information on the platform for promotional purposes
16.10 Liability for Contests
You acknowledge and agree that:
- MYBLISS is not responsible for the outcome of voting contests
- You bear full liability for any disputes arising from your contests
- MYBLISS does not guarantee voting accuracy beyond reasonable technical measures
- You are responsible for resolving any contestant or voter complaints
